Winner: Large Strata Community Management Business Award.
The Strata Community Management Business award recognises a large scale strata community management business (more than 6,500 lots under management) that has devised and implemented strategies for service excellence with a focus on staff training, professional conduct and innovation.
We dedicate this award to every single member of The Knight Family, who worked hard under such trying circumstances in 2020, and to our valued clients for their ongoing support.
Winner: Senior Strata Community Manager Award – Tom Hood.
The Senior Strata Community Manager award recognises a senior strata community manager who has demonstrated excellence in customer service, a commitment to professional development, leadership, business acumen and innovative ideas.
Congratulations Tom Hood for taking out this prestigious title.
Winner: Strata Community Manager Award – Alex Smale.

Congratulations Alex for an incredible year, taking out not just one, but two titles in the 2020 awards – a true testament to your dedication to the industry.
Winner: Essay Award – Alex Smale.
The essay award recognises a person of influence who shares their insight, innovative ideas and knowledge through a 1000-word essay on a current topical strata issue.
Alex’s essay was a well researched, well considered exploration of the concept of strata as a form of government, titled, ‘If strata is a form of government, how do we influence behaviour and improve social outcomes within our properties?’.
