Careers at The Knight

Our Commitment to Sustainability.

The Knight is a carbon-neutral organisation; the first Owners Corporation Management provider to become Climate Active certified.

Sustainability is important to us, and we advocate for it both internally, and to our clients.

We’re passionate about accelerating the uptake of sustainable retrofits within Owners Corporations and removing the roadblocks preventing committees from achieving greener buildings.

Internally, our Sustainability Committee is always investigating ways to reduce our own impact and encourage more sustainable choices from our staff.

Our focus on Health & Wellbeing.

The Knight believes in promoting a healthy work life balance and protecting staff from burnout. Our Wellbeing Committee is tasked with implementing initiatives to improve the mental & physical health of our team.

We also encourage staff input and feedback via regular surveys and offer a free and confidential Employee Assistance Program so that professional help is always available to those who need it.

Career progression.

Our organisational structure ensures there are plenty of opportunities for growth at The Knight.

We have often promoted our Front Line and Administration staff into Manager and Assistant roles. As our company grows and new roles are created, these are shared internally with our team.

This approach comes from the top; our Managing Director started at The Knight over 17 years ago as an Administration Assistant. Indeed, more than 80% of those in Leadership roles have worked their way up from previous roles in the company.

Training & Development of Staff.

The world of strata management is ever-changing and growing in complexity with each year that passes. This is why we take training our staff so seriously.

Our Training & Development Manager oversees companywide training, while also tailoring specific training to individual needs to ensure our staff have all the skills and knowledge required for success.

We host fortnightly training sessions on a wide variety of topics and even encourage our team to present on topics they are passionate or experienced in.

The Knight are active Strata Community Association (SCA) members. All Managers & Assistants complete the A100 Introduction to Strata course, and we regularly send staff to SCA training sessions.
