The Knight’s Managing Director, Gregor Evans has been appointed President of the Strata Community Association Victoria for 2021.
The appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the SCAV who say they’re looking forward to the ‘fervour and passion with which Gregor will lead’.
Gregor is focussed on building the professionalism and ethics of the strata management industry and said of his new position, “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to further develop SCA’s prominence in the industry, expanding services offered to members and for SCA to be known as the voice for all industry stakeholders, not just Managers.”

Strata Community Association Victoria (SCAV) is the pre-eminent member-based association for the Victorian Owners Corporation industry. SCAV was formed in 1990 to provide advocacy, support, advice, and promotion for those living and working in strata.
SCAV members are BLA Registered professional Owners Corporations Managers. The Code of Professional Conduct raises the bar to maintain ethical standards and members are held accountable through a robust complaints process.
SCAV is the only organisation solely focussed on representing the strata property sector. As a result of the exponential rise in strata living due to lifestyle choices and population growth, 1 in 4 Victorians are living in or affected by Owners Corporations.
There are currently over 85,000 active Owners Corporations in Victoria, covering more than 772,000 individual lots. SCAV represents more than 80% of all professional Owners Corporation Managers, with almost 800 members.
About Gregor Evans.
Gregor started with The Knight in 2005, initially gaining experience in the industry in Administrative and Support roles and working his way up to hold the positions of Owners Corporation Manger and Business Development Manager.
In July 2018, after years of planning and preparing the business for future growth, Gregor was promoted to the role of Managing Director, taking over the role from The Knight’s founder, and Gregor’s father, Robert Evans.
Today, Gregor provides support and guidance to the wider business. His passion lies in growing the reputation of the company, delivering upon The Knight’s values of integrity and client focus, and raising the standing of the Strata Management industry as a whole.
